The QIA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the Quartzsite Community. It was incorporated in 1965.
The QIA provides a hall for various activities - music, dances, classes, crafts, weekly Pancake Suppers, fund raising dinners, etc. Several local organizations hold their meetings in our facility.
Our main fund raiser is the annual "Pow Wow" (world famous Gem & Mineral Show) held each January. The first Pow Wow was held in 1967.
The QIA operates with all volunteer help.
Our season runs from November to April. Our office hours are 9:00am to noon Monday thru Friday.
We are closed holidays.
Annual membership is five dollars per person and ten dollars per family
Quartzsite is a wonderful place to spend the winter. There are many RV parks in the area. The BLM (Bureau of Land Management) has both long term and short term areas where you can park your RV. We have a lot going on at the QIA. Check out our Daily and Special Events schedules.
