On May 1, 2008, Governor Napolitano signed Laws 2008, Ch. 152 (House Bill 2745) into law.  The new law contains a "licensing eligibility" section (Arizona Revised Statutes Par. 41-1080) preventing a state agency from issuing a (new or renewed) license to an individual unless the individual has provided the agency with one of the forms of identification listed in the law.

To become or remain eligible for a license, please bring your Driver's License (Licenses from HI, IL, ME, MD, NM, TX, UT, and WA are NOT acceptable), Passport/Visa and/or birth certificate for proof of citizenship or that you are in the United States legally.  Also bring your Arizona State Tax Resale certificate or number.

These documents are necessary for your participation in the Pow-Wow.  Thank you very much.  We appreciate you and look forward to a great year.

75% of all merchandise in booths must be gem, mineral or related hobbies. The Pow Wow attracts rock hound dealers and shoppers from all over the world! Wear comfortable shoes; booths fill the nine-acre showgrounds and the 10,000 square foot QIA building.

Arizona Dept. of Revenue -- (602)255-2060 -- and the Town of Quartzsite -- (928)927-4333 -- require all vendors to purchase vendor permits. Town of Quartzsite offers a special license for Pow Wow-only vendors.

Click here to sign up for the Arizona Transaction Privilege License (resale tax permit). It costs $12 for Arizona + $2 for La Paz County ($14 total) and is good for life.

Even better, just come into the QIA office and meet our Pow Wow crew, Alva and Iola. They have all the forms you need.

Public admission, parking and shuttle service around the show grounds are all free.

QIA volunteers serve three cafeteria-style meals daily during Pow Wow. Vendors, wear your name badge and take advantage of the time-saving Vendor Food Line.
